Jose: Vale. Si hubiera sabido que era posible, lo habría intentado antes.
OK. If I had known it was possible, I would have tried it before.
Jose. OK. Nos vemos mañana. Me alegra que hayamos terminado. Oops. 
OK. See you tomorrow. I'm glad we're done. Oops.
Note that the string was broken with Nos vemos mañana which is pure indicative. But then Jose couldn't resist a bit more subjunctive.
Using the subjunctive A LOT with a drill like this is one of several ways that you can become more proficient in using the subjunctive in real life. Sure, it is over-doing it, but this is exactly what exercises often do. It helps to compensate for the fact that we use the subjunctive so little in English, and that it isn't exactly easy to use it correctly in Spanish, at least not at first. Like everything, it takes practice, and lots of it.
