TIP

Let's talk about Relative Pronouns!

Use in phrases like I know where they are or the day when they arrived.

Je sais où il habite
C'est l'année où tu t'es cassé la jambe

In English, we say the person who helps me and the person who (or whom) I help, but in French there are two words for who.

la personne qui m’aide
la personne que j’aide

It's the same with ce qui and ce que !

Je sais ce qui est important.
J’ai lu ce que tu as écrit.
