However, in certain contexts the word שלה can be a little ambiguous. For example, from the phrase below it's not entirely clear if Yael loves her cat or her mother's cat.

Is there an elegant way to clarify the cat ownership situation (without having to add a whole sentence)? For example, would it make sense if I said
יעל גרה עם אמה. יעל אוהבת את החתולה משלה
