Will any new languages be announced?

I registered. There was little advantage to watching Duocon live the last two years because you can watch all the presentations at your leisure. It is usually worth the price of admission.

don't know about languages, but I'll run away if they push that new design.
they have listed "Duolingo's homescreen redesign" under agenda(on the page that you shared), so I'm expecting this.

The annual Duocon event takes place in August. Does anybody know the exact date?

they will probably announce that we be getting even more cartoon characters probably only a matter of time when you won't be able to disable them anymore

What is likely to happen:

• Promotion of paid tutors
• More cartoons for everyone

You probably know this already but Drops has Icelandic.

I’m not going to watch it live (I’ll watch parts of it later) but please share any exciting developments or takeaways as soon as you want…! I’ll be interested to know.

I remember someone on the Duolingo forum wanted and asking around for these. She wanted them for her kids.
Maybe she’s on here and sees your post.

From my recollection, they had some contest at the kid’s school or something and won one.

They must have had something like this years ago ?

This is not about winning the kudos of a Duolingo plushy.

This is about that you can purchase one.

As they also said in Duocon 2022, that for ... .. well ... lots of years, people have been asking them if they could purchase one.

Here is now for those with the funds, to be able to purchase one.

To blow my trumpet - I even was blessed a couple of years ago, to be in position to have one of these plushies that I was able to give away to a fellow incubator contributor. Which gave me much joy at the time, and still gives me joy.
