Hi all,
the "friend updates" button on my Duolingo profile seems to have disappeared. I am using the web version, not the app. Has anyone else had this?

Hi all,

I don't see it either. I can't remember whwre the friend updates button used to be, but it isn't there anymore.
I'm as dry as a mouse.
I still have it on the profile page and in the dropdown menu when I hover over my avatar in the menu bar.
Thank you for your answer. I think it used to be above "friends", but below "suggested friends". I am not sure, though.
Thank you. Are you using a mobile device or a laptop/desktop?
Interesting, that is the setup that I am also using. I could not find the friend updates in the places you mentioned, so I assume they are currently unavailable. There is not that much you can do with friend updates anyway, but at least one could maintain some kind of connection. Maybe they are going to cut that out as well.
Interestingly when I open duolingo on a slow connection, initially I don't see that "Friend updates" link in the menu, and then it appears after a few seconds of waiting.

Friend updates appear to be back. I just received a notification that someone did more than 10 lessons a day. Maybe there was nothing to display over the last few days?
