Duolingo Happy Hour (Extra XP)

So the other day I was astonished to get extra xp for each lesson. For one hour during the “Duolingo Happy Hour.”

Are these regularly scheduled? Or completely random? Anyone else stumbled into this or know more?

Using the DL website, I faced the opposite a couple of times. Unhappy event: getting 4 points for completing a lesson and a 6 points bonus for making no errors. DL often plays that trick while doing the second lesson of an 'easy skill'; this means I end up 'paying' 5 XP for getting the extra crown early.

Just a little follow-up. The happy hour either didn’t happen again this past week for me or it randomly happened at a time I wasn’t logged in.

This probaly won;t help in any way (which means im just curious), but what browser were you using? Chrome canary? (u probaly wouldn't be using, but im obbsesed with chrome canary, so.) this is basically a pointless post lmao

lol sounds like maybe I should try chrome canary?

Anyway…i almost never do duolingo on anything other than my iphone app. Occasionally on chrome browser for iphone but only usually when the app annoys me too much by taking too long to load.
