Clickable images with text

My Links to removed French and Portuguese stories no longer work properly. When I click the images I'm redirected to the image itself rather than to the story. It used to work fine until recently, and I haven't changed it lately. Has the forum code been changed in a way that may cause this behaviour?

In other posts I've noticed that it still works if the link includes only a picture with no text. My links include a picture and a text. Clicking the text still works fine, but clicking the image no longer does.

Update: Yesterday the problem disappeared for a short while, but today it's back again. I'm not sure what's going on here.

I clicked on one of the pictures and it didn't take me to a story. It took me to the Duolingo story page in the all the different languages.

That's a known issue, that happens when you're account is set to another language.

Make sure your target language is Portuguese before clicking these links.

But it means the clickable images work correctly for you, while they don't for me. Maybe this problem is system specific? I'm on Win11/Edge.

I'm on Windows 11/Firefox.

I changed my language to french, then clicked on the pictures that were supposed to take my to the stories.

I probably opened about 30 of them, probably 20 of them sent me to the correct story, and 10 sent me to an image.
