2025 duolingo language report

Post by Explorer »

Like every year, Duolingo has released some interesting stats about how people all over the world are using the app. It's always kind of fun to see which languages are trending, how people are learning, and what's changed since last year.

Personally, this fact really caught my eye: Portuguese ranks #1 among fastest-growing languages in China and India—perhaps for economic reasons, as Brazil’s economic and cultural influence continues to expand—and it’s #2 in Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, and Türkiye.

Take a look! 🙂
