Ni sabes lo que es

Post by antonmo »

This phrase has different translations depending on where you look:

PROMT - Nor do you know what it is

Pretty much everwhere else - you don’t even know what it is

I ask this because I had learned

Yo tampoco = Ni yo = nor I

And that is different from ”Not even I” = Ni siquiera yo

When I first saw your subject, I translated it the second way. Now thanks to your post I’ve learned there’s another (more formal?) meaning.

But now I have to go look up “PROMT”.
