Dualingo is not reducing the music sound anymore.

Hi all,

I have a problem with the iOS app for a while. It happened only for a few months that dualingo was reducing the sound of Spotify when a text was read. That was quite helpful, but since a while it doesn’t. I tried to reinstall the app. But no change. Anyone has the same problem or a solution?

Are you saying that you play Spotify whilst doing duolingo lessons?

Edit: I just noticed that the duolingo sound reduces when I receive a notification on my phone, which is slightly annoying

Sure, always while I’m in the subway. Normal dualingo reduced the volume once it speaks a lesson. Since a while it doesn’t do it anymore.

I just tried it and it still reduces the music for me unfortunately I would like it to not do that

Could it be a setting on your mobile? Giving precedence to one app over another?

Thanks for the idea, but iPhone and iOS doesn’t have a volume mixer feature. I will try the notification though and report if it works.
