This new post on the Duolingo blog provides valuable phrases in several languages in order to communicate with and help Ukranian refugees:
Our teams at Duolingo are made up of engineers, product managers, curriculum designers, illustrators, researchers, writers, and translators (to name a few); they come from classrooms and research institutes around the world, and are all here for our mission to develop the best education in the world and make it universally available. And it so happens that we have a large team of translators, many from, with family in, or living near Ukraine, who wanted to do more to help those directly impacted by the war. So they created an online phrasebook, a tool and resource for refugees and volunteers who need to communicate urgently about a range of topics, including safety, family, identity, and medical needs.
