I saw this posted on the Greek forums recently! (viewtopic.php?p=10585-game-questions-answers#p10585) It got me inspired...

Let's start a fun thread practicing Mandarin, I'll ask a question in Mandarin and then the person after me would reply with a response and then another question to ask the next person! (all in mandarin)

I hope it makes sense, check out the link I provided to the Greek forums as an example

我最喜欢的电影叫做《潘神的迷宫》（英语：Pan's Labyrinth，西班牙语：El Laberinto del Fauno），墨西哥导演 Guillermo del Toro 拍的。讲的是西班牙内战时期的一个小姑娘的“黑暗童话”。有些地方有点恐怖，但拍得也特别漂亮，又很感人。

Translation

My favorite movie is called Pan's Labyrinth (Spanish: El Laberinto del Fauno), directed by Mexican director Guillermo del Toro. It's a "dark fairy tale" about a little girl during the Spanish Civil War. It's a little horrific in some places, but it's shot beautifully and and very moving.

There are a variety of "input methods" ("input methods" are tools that can type Chinese characters on a computer). I prefer to use Google Pinyin, but now Google no longer supports it, I recommend you use the default input method of your operating system. 我开始学一点点日语，也有一样的现象，但是相反的，把日文的汉字读成中文的发音。比如说，你的签名（signature）里写的 “世界が平和である事は良い事です”，我会把它读成了 “shìjiè ga pínghé de a ru shì ha liáng i shì desu”
