Duolingo 3-21-2022 through 3-27-2022

I hit 500K XP recently, so I took a detailed look at where the XP comes from by keeping track of everything I did on Duolingo last week. The time & date stamps come from Duolingo for Schools (it's similar to Duome but more informative). The lessons associated with the each general practice come from the sentences. From each practice sentence you can identify the vocabulary that is taught, and match that vocabulary to a specific skill using the lists in Duolingo for schools. Duolingo should do this but they don't. By the end of the week I discovered I didn't have a lot of choice in what I did given the general goals that I set for myself. Weekly stats:

Congratulations! I was wondering if you can assign yourself specific lessons through Duolingo schools. I tried to do that, but I haven't figured out how to do the assignments.

When you assign lessons, everyone in the class gets the assignment. If you want to assign yourself the lessons, you have to be the only one in the classroom. Anyway, I think you have that part figured out.

You get notified of the assignment by email if you have that set up. You can also keep track of the assignments on the browser. you have to select the desktop application view. It's of small print but in the upper right it has a box of unfinished assignments.

I've attached a screenprint so you can see my remaining assignment is a lesson on the skill 2.01 city. to do the assignments, just click on the skill in the tree & do the lesson. you can do the assignment anywhere. when your done, the assignment is complete & you get an email if that's set up.

what i recommended to the student who i'm doing this for is use the browser with desktop site to see your assignments, but go to the app & do the assignment there. It would be really nice if the app had the my assignment box but it doesn't.
