Is there a difference between bore 'ma and y bore 'ma? I've seen both used but sometimes Duolingo insists on one not the other... (miss the sentence forums!)

You beat me to it :) I need an answer too. P.S getting rid of ' live ' sentence discussion is an awful move.

Y bore yma is the full phrase, which is be shortened to y bore 'ma, which is shortened to bore 'ma! They're all correct, just get less formal as you shorten them.

both are correct, bore 'ma is just the shortened form of y bore 'ma.

example: Aethon ni i'r archfarchnad (y) bore 'ma.
