Idrottar also works, but "tränar" is in my opinion more commonly use in this kind of situation.
The word "sportar" also works, because you describe him as "sportig" later on

maybe: Så bra! to get a more emphasis.

Agnes: Titta, jag tror att jag borde gå.
"Titta" doesn't fit in. If you need a "confirmation word" you can use "Okej",
but the sentence "Jag tror att jag borde gå nu" works fine on it's own

Lena: på riktigt? Varför?
Verkligen? is more common than "På riktigt"

In order to make the stories somewhat consistent, we need to agree on the names of the actors.

Would it be okay to attempt a translation? I have a short story in mind, very short, like 500 words, a favourite story that's not very well known, and I think I could get permission from the author to attempt a translation. I know him from twitter previously although he's no longer on there and neither am I but he's contactable by email so shouldn't be a problem.

Det är jättebra Will. Det är ingen brådska, och tveka inte att fråga mig eller GTran/DeepL om de holländska delarna. De konverterar ganska bra till engelska. Och därifrån kan du få den till svenska.
För senare ... tror jag att jag har en lista på 180 eller så fler franska som ska göras.

I think that for a translation you don't need permission, as the translating work is your own intellectual property.

Yes, I think though that publishing the translation online requires permission, although I'm not sure, I'm not an expert on such things, but I'll check when I ask about it. Thanks
