Help on German sentence

Post by frank10 »

Is this sentence correct?

"Wie man menschen im alltag liest, um Sich Vor Mentale Gehirnwäsche Verteidigen."

The meaning should be: "How to analyze/read people in everyday life to defend yourself from brainwashing."

Thank you

I would write: "Wie man Menschen im Alltag analysiert, um sich gegen mentale Gehirnwäsche zu verteidigen."

Maybe liest could work, but analysiert makes it immediately understandable. Remember to have all nouns in capital letters.

Thank you!
I used liest because I read a sentence saying "learn to read people like an open book"... but yes, analyzing is clearer.

I wouldn't use mentale but just Gehirnwäsche. Mental seems redundant. I am not a great expert in brain washing, but is there a certain kind of brain washing which does not affect the mental state?

Therefore my sentence would be: Wie man Menschen im Alltag analysiert, um sich gegen Gehirnwäsche zu verteidigen."

Thank you, that makes sense, too.
