[HOWTO] Topics based on former Duolingo material

Post by Basler Biker »

Note to all Swedish natives, fluent speakers, and students who want to reply to Q&A topics in the "FAQ" and "Never ask again" a.o. forums.

Of course your own contribution material and wisdom primes.

However ... should you want to reply based on former Duolingo material, then be sure to try adopting the sequence
such as fnirk1 did very nicely for viewtopic.php?t=1613
and I adopted this replying style for viewtopic.php?t=1729

Thus:

  • use the Quote feature, and mention clearly the original author on Duolingo (as text, not as a link to Duolingo)
  • Copy-paste relevant portions of their reply/answer unaltered to duome
With "relevant part" is meant the "best" "on-topic" "concise" replies, omitting too much the discussion parts before coming to a conclusion.

Add your own notes to that.
