I was about to try to write 'Sure, but… I maybe forgot the back door' in Spanish for my reply, but, looking at the Spanish sentence, is there anything in there to actually specify front door as the English translation claims?

No, it just says "the door". For all we know, it could be the back door. Or the side door. Maybe it's the basement door, some houses (in the US at least) still have those. https://www.bilco.com/Content/BILCO/ima ... Primer.jpg
