It was my hope, after randomly getting this sentence to come up for a completely different one, to take the opportunity to continue the adventures of fictional me and his misspelt childhood friends. Let's face it, after the last one, this would've segued so easily, but alas, the plot got away from me, so that is currently sitting in a document - at >300 words and climbing - only tangentially related to the original sentence.

So instead I'm going to ask about 'alguna tienda con baño'. Can (or rather, 'Should') 'baño' really not have any article?

My guess is that algun and alguna replace the article in this case. If you added an article, it would seem redundant to me. The equivalent in English would be something like "Is there any a bathroom around here?"

I meant the second 'baño'. 'Algún' and 'alguna' can definitely replace an article, but 'con'?

La preposición "con" no sustituye al artículo.

Bueno, en realidad no aplica del todo. El punto es que "baño" se refiere a un área genérica. Decir "con un baño" da entender que se espera que haya sólo un baño, no dos ni más.

Jimbo - Thanks for clarifying. I understand your question better now. According to my grammar book, the indefinite article is not required after "con" when it means "equipped with." For example, "casa con jardin."

For me, the important thing to remember is that just because an article would be required in English (or any other language) doesn't necessarily mean it would be required or even correct in Spanish.
