What languages have influenced the make up of modern Hebrew? אורז rice is the same as Spanish. בננה is the same as English. אננס is French. אוטובוס has a German flavor?

There are Latin- and Greek-origin words that have been adopted into Hebrew, such as פסיכולוגיה, פילוסופיה or אינטרקציה, just a few things that have occurred to me just now.

Modern Hebrew is definitely influenced by Arabic and Russian. I’m studying Hebrew and Russian simultaneously and I definitely notice a lot of overlap in syntax, structure and vocabulary between the two languages. Hebrew also has quite a bit of overlap with Arabic in vocabulary and loan words.
