Limburgish - a tonal language

Some time ago I browsed “Around the World in Twenty Languages” by Gaston Dorren. On the occasion of talking about Vietnamese, a tonal language, the author mentions his mother tongue – the Limburg dialect of Dutch and presents it as a tonal language too. That's interesting!
