Ich trinke nur Sojamilch. (dn → de)
Re: Ich trinke nur Sojamilch. (dn → de)
Juiste oplossing:
Ich trinke nur Sojamilch
Why is 'ich trinke allein sojamilch' wrong?

For me (I am German ) the sentence "Ich trinke allein Sojamilch" sounds a bit like "I'm sitting alone (allein) somewhere drinking soja milk"
If I want to stress the "only" I would say "einzig und allein": "ich drinke einzig und allein Sojamilch" = I don't drink anything but soya milk
I wonder why these sentences were generated with the abbreviation dn-->de. That's probably why they don't end up in the right forum when you edit them. --> troubleshooting?

Thanks. It makes sense.

It's because they are generated by my custom and buggy script:
viewtopic.php?p=39540-duolingo-sentence ... ome#p39540
I'm not a full-fledged programmer and I hope somebody can fix it for me.

@MoniqueMaRie Do you know where this sentence belongs? German? I'm not sure.
@nudelfressa At least your script worked some! I sure wish someone could fix the sentence extension. The normal one is very buggy now sometimes too.

"alleen" could too easily be understood as "zonder andere personen bij me"
If something is limited to one thing, one needs to say "alleen maar" of "uitsluitend"
ik drink alleen maar sojamelk.
ik drink uitsluitend sojamelk.
ik drink alleen melk van soja.

I speak Dutch, learning German.
dn = Dutch/Nederlands
de = Deutsch (German)
don't know where the (nl → de) comes from, but it should be (dn → de) so i changed those in the titles.
the topic may be moved to "learning German from Dutch"
