"It could be that they might ask your bank account number." Would that be a more literal translation? How am I supposed to get that in the right word order the way it is at present? Of course I can just memorize it or learn this is one way to ask this, but are there other ways of translating the English sentence into Hebrew or must it always take that word order?

The most literal translation would be: "It can be that they will ask your bank account number."
Is the "for" necessary in English?

I would prefer:
"אולי הם יבקשו את מספר חשבון הבנק שלך."
Shorter and more elegant in my opinion.
