Your duolingo forum registration isn't automaticaly transferred to duome forum so in order to join duome forums you need to register with your existing or any other username and email; in any case it's advised that you choose a new password for the forum.

I've just noticed that with the new snake layout, all the stories seem to have gone AWOL. Are they hiding somewhere or accessible anywhere? It seems a shame that the whole suite has just disappeared like that.

In the "snake", all the stories are supposed be mixed among the lessons (look for pictures of a book). This is the direct link to stories on the old Duolingo: https://www-internal.duolingo.com/stories (or use the picture of a book on the left side of the old Duolingo lesson page: https://www-internal.duolingo.com/learn ).
