gibt es einen Unterschied zwischen "bike lane" and bike path"?
Im Dänisch-Kurs schreibt jemand folgendes, das ich leider nicht verstehe:
--- Where I'm from "bicycle paths" would be something in or on a trail system like in a park or surrounded by forestry. Given the images that show up when searching for "cykelstier" and the context in this question I would unambiguously always refer to this concept as a "bike lane(s)". ---

I'm not a native speaker, but I never saw 'bike path' anywhere, just 'bike lane'. I'm curious now. Hopefully some natives will answer your question.

A bike lane is a lane reserved for bicycles on a road where there are also other lanes for cars and other motor vehicles. Only bicycles are allowed in the bike lane unless it's a combined bike lane/bus lane, in which case buses may also travel in that lane. But cars, lorries, motorcyces etc can't.
A bike path is any other kind of path or route specially designed to encourage use of bicycles. Bike paths can be found in towns or in the countryside, across fields, alongside canals and rivers, over or under roads etc. But the point is there won't be other lanes for motor vehicles next to a bike path.
