Ouch!

Remember,verbslike se blesser or se couper use être in the passé composé .
And they change depending on gender² and number³!

Nous nous sommes brûlés.
We got burned.​
Elle s'est blessée.
She got hurt.​

But if you know exactly which body part was affected, there's no ending changes!

Ils se sont coupé les cheveux.
They cut their hair.​
Elle s'est brûlé la main.
She burned her hand.


²gender In French, all nouns are either masculine or feminine, even when they don’t refer to people.
³Number is the category that shows if a word refers to one thing or multiple.
