Is their a way that we can include flags to represent languages ?
To use them, for example, within discussions ? In posts such as this ?
Maybe also to gradually make our forum navigation by images - instead of words. Thus making them more navigatable regardless of what your native language is.
Perhaps - if they are used as labels to identify our forums, that if you hover your mouse over them, that they have pop text. Being in the menu that is. Not within a discussion.
For Duolingo, they use/used symbols such as :
![]( know English (i.e. can speak and read English) ![](https://i.imgur.com/cPxGMB4.png
![]( English speaker learning Arabic ![](https://i.imgur.com/gO2kHBa.png)
]
![]( English speaker learning Czech ![](https://i.imgur.com/hPSfnFg.png)
![]( know Greek (i.e. can speak and read Greek) ![](https://i.imgur.com/3gq28HZ.png)
etc.
Especially in the LANGUAGE DISCUSSIONS. To also standardize them.
So instead of
- ... desde español
you have
![](
And with the sub forums :
![]( ; ![]( ; ![](
Catalan ; English ; Esperanto ; .....
I am intending to put up a post that will list all the flags I have "copied" and hosted on imgur.
But - perhaps there is a better work around than this ?
(note: as seen on https://forum.duolingo.com/comment/13007546)
