Suggested Latin - Cyrillic converters

Do people have other recommendations, or wish to point out other issues regarding converters such as this ?

Or could you add to the variations of the Cyrillic alphabet used in different languages ?

The Cyrillic Alphabet was named for St. Cyril. Cyril was a Greek monk who, with Methodius, brought written language to Christian converts in the mid-9th century (c.860). The Cyrillic alphabet is closely based on the Greek alphabet, with about a dozen additional letters invented to represent Slavic sounds not found in Greek.

It is the basis of alphabets used in various languages, past and present, in parts of Southeastern Europe and Northern Eurasia, especially those of Slavic origin, and non-Slavic languages influenced by Russian.

wikipedia
By and large Cyrillic has phonemic orthographies, with occasional exceptions. Also spellings of names transliterated into the Roman alphabet/Latin script may vary.

Summary of its adaptation in Russian

In Russia, Cyrillic was first written in the early Middle Ages in clear-cut, legible ustav (large letters). Later a succession of cursive forms developed. In the early eighteenth century, under Peter the Great of Russia, the forms of letters were simplified and regularized, with some appropriate only to Greek being removed. Further unnecessary letters were expunged in 1918, leaving the alphabet as it is today—still in use in many Slavic Orthodox countries.

To the best of my current knowledge, there are differences in characters used and pronunciation by different languages, however these resources may be of interest.

Indeed, but they are not as significant as in languages using Latin-based scripts. Example: in Cyrillic, when you see ш, you just say ш (minor differences in articulation in different languages won’t matter much). In Latin, virtually every letter can represent absolutely different sounds.
