Maybe I'm wrong, but I think it's an script, it will always say tomorrow as Release Date.
I saw a Duolingo video in which the tree for Zulu was seen in the background. At that time I saw 12 skills, with 4/5 lessons for each (Total, 68 lessons)
But I couldn't find that video again...
Also, in theory, here will appair all the alpha-testers: https://duome.eu/en/zu
I fully support !

Aaaargghhh a script?!? well thanks for replying! We’ll see…!
As MatOzone explained, the incubator page simply sets the expected release date as tomorrow and increments it by one. As far as I know, this situation has been the same since early July.
I don't think isiZulu is coming soon because the Duolingo official partner set the application deadline for alpha testers as May 27 (source). After the deadline, the partner and Duolingo should've assessed the applicants, and then kicked off the actual alpha test. It's unlikely that an alpha test for a completely new language course, especially the one with very different grammar from English, can be done within one month or so.
For more information, please see the course list on Duolingo Fandom.
How many days required to enter into the alpha and beta phases, respectively:
As far as I know, the isiZulu course was in the pre-alpha phase for more than 12 months. It will probably take 3+ months to enter into the beta phase and available for ordinary users. This is just my guess.

Right now I don't have IOS... Maybe you can check if this work, and make a capture of the alpha course (skills, lessons):
Open Duolingo in the browser: https://www.duolingo.com/course/zu/en/Learn-Zulu OR https://www.duolingo.com/course/zu/en/ OR https://www.duolingo.com/enroll/zu/en/ OR https://www.duolingo.com/enroll/zu/en/Learn-Zulu
then click on the "Open on Duolingo App" banner (it should appair on top, or maybe when you clic on "Notify me").
Then, with a bit of luck, you will be into Zulu! Please share the screenshots!
(That worked with HT some months ago... you can try also /zc/zs/ for Cantonese from Chinese)
I fully support !

Yesterday, the release date was manually changed to Aug 25th.
I simplified the trophy, with the South Africa Flag with the Zulu shield:
