Dear anyone,
Your duolingo forum registration isn't automaticaly transferred to duome forum so in order to join duome forums you need to register with your existing or any other username and email; in any case it's advised that you choose a new password for the forum.

Cosa fa is the polite Form. Fa' also exists, it's the imperative: Fa' (also fai) qualcosa. The polite form of the imperative is faccia.
My understanding is that Cosa fai? is equivalent to “What are you doing?” or “What do you do?”, while Cosa fa’? is more or less equivalent to “Whatcha doin’?”

Watcha doin' would rather be
"Ma che stai facendo?" There is a form corresponding to the progressive form in Italian, it's built with the forms of "stare" (sto, stai, sta, stiamo, state, stanno + gerund (ending in -ando o - endo).
