(YES! I know Duome isn't involved with Duolingo, or is it? Someone told me they didn't, idk who tho!)

Your duolingo forum registration isn't automaticaly transferred to duome forum so in order to join duome forums you need to register with your existing or any other username and email; in any case it's advised that you choose a new password for the forum.

Duome is basically duo+me and somehow it's also related to La Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore, il Duomo di Firenze

it used to be called duolingo.eu but was renamed to avoid confusion with the main duolingo site
