as with my 999 day streak, i am celebrating my 1999 day milestone today because i'm a bit of an underachiever and because who knows, i could get hit by a bus before doing my lessons & drills tomorrow and may not make it to 2000.

thank you! i am learning spanish and japanese, and recently started hawaiian. over the years i've become much better at, but am far from fluent in those languages. at this point, i use duolingo more as "daily brain exercise" out of habit rather than a tool to facilitate or achieve any sort of fluency. it's been fun!
