Mini lesson Adjective + to + infinitive A2

Post by Frank916855 »

Hello everyone!

Today's mini lesson is about using 'to' after some adjectives. It means that we feel the adjective because of the action that happens in the infinitive.

Adjectives + to + infinitive

• They were glad to hear the news.
• She was happy to arrive home.
• It is likely to rain.
• You were lucky to win the prize.
• Are they ready to go?
• He was right to quit.
• I was shocked to learn that he was ill.
