Your duolingo forum registration isn't automaticaly transferred to duome forum so in order to join duome forums you need to register with your existing or any other username and email; in any case it's advised that you choose a new password for the forum.

As the thread title says, could someone be so kind as to explain the difference between henüz and hala?
Duo had me translate the sentence "This glass is still dirty" and I tried
Bu bardak henüz kirli.
The correct answer (as far as I remember 
) would be:
Bu bardak hala kirli.

hala means "still" in positive and negative sentences.
henüz means "not yet" in negative sentences. You will only rarely see it in positive sentences (mostly with the past-tense), and then it means "only just."
