DuoRadio?

Post by guryev »

Since about March, 26 2026 the DuoRadio exercises seem to be gone from the Spanish course for desktop Windows. Am I the only one who has this trouble?

I just ,checked my web account and scrolled through sections 4 &5 with no sign of the headphones. But then I don't know if they were ever there in the first place since I really only use the phone app.

Edit: Just checked my phone app sections 1 4 and 5 and none there either! That;s a shame if they have gone for good they were an excellent feature.

Yup, a quick search suggests its across the board - although a few people seem to still have them. Odd since they were part of the path/snake

On the web / desktop?

What path version are you on? The older or the newest with the changed AI stuff?

Unfortunately our Duome progress is currently not able to show any tree data (the panel below the course headline - on the desktop view it's on the right side)

Edit: The Path tab fixed this for us:

  • 9 sections (incl. daily refresh)
  • 1032 units (x5 multiplier in sections #5-8)
  • 9288 levels
  • 2967 words (that's quite low for a full B2 course??)
  • 24098 sentences
  • 311 (tree) skills
  • No grammar skills
  • 1095 stories
  • No radios (1333)
  • 1074 chests

@duome
Hi Maxime, why is the PT path data so low on words/lexemes and sentences?

..(...)..

FYI: My older French course (272 units / skills) has 13 grammar skills and labels some units with "Subjunctive".

I was wondering if I maybe had seen 34?? grammar skills before, can't remember the exact count; but 13 doesn't feel much.

I think I must be on the latest version. The radio/headphone lessons disappeared for a while but have mysteriously reappeared.

The word count here comes from Duolingo, I don't really know what it was supposed to mean, my own calculations give much higher word counts now. I should probably ignore Duo's numbers here, bit it is what is there in the data.

Oh, you're going through section #5.
I know that you've completed your PT Busuu course yet.

Have you tried to read intermediate or advanced Portuguese texts?

You may want to try it out with this pronunciation analysis tool: viewtopic.php?p=137337#p137337
