Egy dolog zavar:
- Melléknév ragozás: jó, jobb, (a) legjobb. Mert a legjobb a sorban egyedül van. Nincs két legjobb ... ugye?
Ő a legjobb barátom: He is my best friend. Lehet, hogy angolul ez így helyes, de magyarul nem.
DeepL fordítás: He is my best friend /He's my best friend: Ő a legjobb barátom.
Lhet, hogy ez szőrszálhasogatás (nitpicking), de engem nagyon zavar..
you are right to mention that. Translators do miss on "idiomatic expressions". Less likely AI's do.
As shown below (deepseek) - but the examples given by a former member are from DL, and we all know there' always something "wrong" with sentences going from A=>B (which may be right) but then B=>A is very often wrong.
Like EN: you, and no verb conjugation, vs a gendered pronoun and singular/plural in the target language.
It's like saying "John and Fred are my two best friends", or "Two of my best friends came to visit me".
So "best friend" shall be seen as an expression, not as the one on the top of a stack of friends 
There is also a difference between the hypothetical "the two first wil a prize" (if they end both first?) vs "the first two win a prize" (i.e. the first and the second) - English knows only "the first two win a prize"
But in Dutch they would be possible, but very different too. "De eerste twee" (1st and 2nd) vs "de twee eerste" (not likely, only possible when the photo-finish can't separate first from second).
Same for "best man" for "witness" in a marriage... "best" can be misinterpreted.
