Ok. A bit random. But this Mongolian Throat Rock band was recommended by an unlikely source and searching for them on Youtube had the added benefit of breaking the "California Dreaming" version of the wheel of eternity.

We also have a radio show here on BBC Radio 4 called "Add to Playlist" that finds links between a diverse variety of tracks. This week, to my great pleasure and surprise, they found a link to "Wolf Totem" by "The Hu".

Well, must say I was disappointed rather than angry with this film (pouty camp face) - not nearly enough explosions and stuff and the ending was like totes yawn - but I was only really searching for the Adele voice...

The Ballad of Beren & Lúthien (in Sindarin)

The story of Luthien and Beren:

Beren was a man who had lost everything. One day, he found Lúthien Tinúviel dancing in the woods. She was not just a woman, but a half-goddess, the most beautiful being to ever walk the earth. Driven by his heart, Beren went to King Thingol, her father, to ask for her hand. The king, angered that a mortal dared to claim his daughter, set upon the man an impossible task: to steal a Silmaril, a jewel from the crown of the Dark Lord Morgoth. Without a flicker of doubt, Beren accepted, for no shadow was darker than the thought of losing her.

He ventured through forests haunted by unimaginable terrors and over mountains where even the stars seemed to fade. He faced creatures of darkness, pits of fire, and Morgoth himself, and at last... at last he seized the Silmaril from the crown of the enemy. Yet the victory came at a terrible cost, for Beren was mortally wounded, and his soul passed into the realm of the dead.

But Lúthien's grief was too strong to let him go alone. She followed his spirit to the halls of the dead and sang a song of such sorrow that it moved the heart of the Lord of Death. Then she was given a choice: Beren could be returned to life, but only if she renounced her own immortality. What did she do? She chose to leave her eternal life behind so she could grow old and die with Beren. And so they walked together once more beneath the sun and stars, united in love, and lived in joy and peace until the end of their days.

Luthien's Lament

This is the song that Lúthien sang before Mandos, the guardian of the halls of the dead, where he summons the spirits of all those who have suffered a violent death. Legend has it that he was so deeply moved that, as a unique exception in all eternity, he granted the maiden's wish, bringing the fallen warrior back to life so the two lovers could finally be together.
