Geishin Impact Quest

Over the w/e, they wanted me to join the Guishen Impact Quest. It seems to be a three-week thing. This is on the app using an android in a Schools acct Considering it was the anniversary of Pearl Harbor, I decided I wasn't going to get involved in any sort of Japanese-sounding quest. Plus Duolingo's record for screwing up anything new, either through bugs or unintended consequences , is another reason to not try anything new. Has anyone tried this ? What is the gist of it?

I didn’t do it , either. Was going to ask in here -what it was.

Something about adding 3 days to your streak if you hit the button.

I did it, just by completing my dailies.
It sent me to a page I had to sign up for, and had a special promo code. I have no idea what the code does because I'm not interested in signing uo for something I don't even know what is.
