The language is based on a cool concept. With very few roots, you can form many words, although imo it eventually gets a bit too abstract to be practical. One of the coolest things about Toki Pona is that it can be written using its own logographic system. To me they kinda look like simplified Mayan glyphs. Pretty neat, isn't it?

They say it's an easy language to learn. Maybe I'll give it a shot someday 🙂

actually it's easy to learn but difficult to use. cuz, few vocabulary means hard work for creating more words, then you'll get confused probably, at least that's the case for me...... you'd notice this once you start to use the language regularly......

Yes, it seems to be a more theoretical than practical language. It's like a game. Anyway, there is a quite complete dictionary in case you don't know how to create a new word.

You can also learn this language with "o pilin e toki pona" course available on YouTube. This course is the most completed way to learn Toki Pona.

Yes, you absolutely should! I'm still learning but I think it's awesome! :!: :!: :!: With reference to another part of your message there that isn't shown, the logographic system is called "sitelen pona." There is also a system ( that almost no one actually cares to know 8-) ) called "sitelen sitelen" or "sitelen suwi," made by Jonathan Gabel. Also there is an entire legal contract written in sitelen sitelen. :o  I personally think "WHY ON EARTH." But yeah I'm kinda impressed :| . Bro has wayyyyyy too much free time  8-) . :!:

Side note :geek:
I made a hypothetical TP joke word palindrome   ... ipasujenutikunolinesajetinekAkenitejasenilonukitunejusapi.
(The A is only capitalized here so you can see the symmetry better.) ;) It would mean, "palindrome." :| :| I love emojis   .

Are you able to have a conversation in Toki Pona yet?

@Explorer No, but I do have a lot of ideas
 Making a toki pona song :D that ALSO
 Sounds epic
 Gets featured in Geometry Dash :ugeek: (a game I really like playing)
 Actually has taste (difficulty = )
:!: Speaking of songs 8-) , I looooooove "loje // telo" from Pata Powe. The last drop is FIRE :!: :!: :!: :o ...
...but the "Epiku Mix"...  TERRIBLE like it got NO taste!
 Also, me personally, :P :P I just do an English sentence ;) and then go like ", seme?" Like it's an 'innit.' Evil. But it's just me. Anyway, whatever. That's my two cents on it. ;) ;)

I still don't see any new messages? Oh and I had to change accounts but if you use @xX_KalaKasiAnseli_Xx as a mention I will still understand. 8-) 8-)
8-) 8-)
Well, food for thought I guess... 8-) 8-)
8-) 8-)
Have you seen the 'ma Seka' site? It's a Peertube instance for toki pona. Has some good music and uh some funny memes. Also if you go to the network page for more Peertube sites you can find video.4d2.org, which is just an unrelated side note but it's there and I like it, SO THERE. 8-) 8-)
8-) 8-)
Anyway, I'm still learning but I'll let you know when I get conversational and some earlier milestones like when I can translate someone else speaking in toki pona in real-time and respond accurately, when I start making memes in toki pona, et cetera. 8-) 8-) lol 8-) lol 8-) 8-)

@xX_Alt_KK_Anseli_Xx What materials are you using to learn? Do you have the official book and the dictionary? My understanding is that even though you can create your own words, there's a vocabulary that's recognized by the author/creator of the language.

@Explorer Actually no. I do, however, want to get them :D , it's just that my parents are low-income. And I'm still not up to 18 yet. and I live in a suburban area that doesn't facilitate regular forms of making money to actually get those things...

Btw do you have any ideas for that? :? :| :? :| :?

@xX_Alt_KK_Anseli_Xx Why don't you ask for it for Christmas? The main book is like fifteen bucks, and I'm pretty sure you can look up the dictionary online anyway. People who know me also know I'm a total book nerd. I have no clue what they're getting me this year, but I think my bookshelf is scared 😬

@Explorer Your bookshelf is scared!? lol
Great idea! Thanks!

Also, :ugeek: I want to know: :D how on earth do 181 words (at least that's how many can be found on nimi.li not counting all 179 sandbox words) sum up LITERALLY ANYTHING? :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek:

I'm lowkey surprised. Also... :P I wonder if there are actually really fast Toki pona rap songs... :D ... that actually MEAN something. ( difficulty:      )
Like, tokirap by jan Misali is MID! It's just every word.

:| :| :| I guess there's Pin Pan Pan Pon but still... :ugeek: is there one over 10 syllables per second? :ugeek:
If there is, just tell me about it! :D :D

For anyone interested in Toki Pona, there's an official webpage where you can find helpful information: → https://tokipona.org/

I just found out they even have some classic books translated, like The Wizard of Oz! On the left side of the cover, you can see the alternative logographic writing system that can be used to write this language. Pure guesswork here, but the first thing I noticed is that part of the text is inside this cartouche-like thing, which looks exactly like what they used in ancient Egyptian to write personal names. Very interesting!!

Yes, you are right :D

 I am still waiting for Sonja to drop Book 2 of the series? :| :| :| (Book 1 is :D that Wizard Of Oz in Toki Pona thing  )

 Yes, the cartouche is :D for writing names and GOD  the system it uses is inefficient :D but that's what fanmade systems are for... :ugeek: :ugeek:

 And I told you this before, :ugeek: but the logographic system is called sitelen pona and there is another font no one cares about    called sitelen sitelen / sitelen suwi ;) 8-)
