I've been trying to use the new feature where you can add friends on Duolingo, but it won't work. It wont even let me put a name on my account. I joined in 2021 so I don't know if that's why, but I can even put a phone number in.

@Antonio 0rtega I don't think the find friends feature lets you put a phone number in. You would need to use your friend's email address.

@Antonio 0rtega Sorry, got mixed up with the old feature. Haven't heard of this new feature.

I have the exact same problem 😭. I’ve searched everywhere but theres no solution on this that I can find. If you do please let me know.
