Course Update!

For a few years since I completed the course, I’ve had the “circle of ennui”, where the first practice would be almost exactly the same every day. If I was using a browser, I’d do a practice instead (typing “practice” in place of “learn” in the address bar if I had to).

This morning I did a practice as usual, and was stunned that there were only 5 exercises. Then I looked at the screen and noticed it was no longer a circle! Duo has updated and added content to the Portuguese course!

It starts me on Section 4, Unit 21, and the end is Unit 60. Each unit has 6 learning activities, it appears, plus a chest or two.

I’m looking forward to completing these 40 units over the next few months!

It happened to me today, too. I feel a bit ambivalent because, whilst I now have a lot more new lessons and words, Ive gone from the top to somewhere in the middle. But its like starting a whole new course so cant really complain. However, I am now embarrassingly behind the missus who still hadn't finished the old course.

Mind you, i feel the same about that damn circle and at least i wont be seeing that again for a good while!

.....and, all my old course was legendary. Now there is almost a whole section that isn't! But, although I'm bothered, Im not bothered enough to waste time and gems on filling the gaps.

Blimey! I am now midway through section 4. I needed one more "perfect lesson" to complete my daily quests so opted to repeat the very first lesson in section 1 - expecting "prazer em conhecer voce" etc. shock horror! it was completely different and a lot harder!

@John Little Já te disse, o curso de português é completamente novo. Mas isso não quer dizer que seja ruim, né? Gostaria muito de saber o que você vai achar quando tiver avançado mais um pouco.
