I’ve been stuck on this one lesson for the last three days, just because of this one thing- it is not accepting “ka hō’ailona” as the answer for translating “the sign” despite it being the exact answer it gives in the correction. Am I not seeing it right? What am I typing wrong here?

Re: What am I doing wrong?
I know this is old. This course is riddled with these little issues. Most of the time, just remove the okina or combine words even though it's wrong.
Re: What am I doing wrong?
I know that's old too, but for anyone who has the same question later: Look at the sign between “ō" and "a". You use the apostrophe ' as a separator, while duolingo uses a kind of separate single quotation mark ‘ (maybe zoom in to see the difference).
Maybe it's possible for you to copy Duolingo's answer and paste it next time? Then you will be sure that you are using the same character as them. That's what I do if they annoy me too much with such sophistries.

Please correct me if I write something wrong. I will never take it as an offense. I want to learn.
