Is "du" swallowed sometimes?

Post by verdensrommet »

For example, in this sentence (https://www.memrise.com/dictionary/norw ... ?hsLang=en), the "du" (I've heard it too sometimes with "ha" and "en"/"et"). Does this vary by region/dialect or is it a general thing?

Also, any resources on pronunciation and speaking would be greatly appreciated.

I think quite a few places in Norway people will leave out the d in du, in part of fully, if the pronoun is not stressed... especially after vil or har.. Har 'u fått 'n. The same is true for many of the pronouns. Hvor har 'n vært? This is quite common in eastern Norway. But also other places
