You can use any username that you like when you join duome forum, yet it's better if you use your existing Duolingo username to unlock some extra features and avoid confusion while troubleshooting; in any case it's advised that you choose a different password for the forum.

why have duolingo neglected the hindi course despite it having so many learners, one of the most learned courses in the app.
even though it has so many learners it only have 2 sections with a couple units each.
i’d understand if it was a very unpopular course but it isn’t, it’s the opposite.
duolingo needs to do better

It is possible that they are non-paying learners so Duolingo has figured out that it is not worth to develop that course any more.
