Hi everyone,
There is something in the following sentence that I don't understand. "Yeni insanlarla tanışıyorum." Why have they added a "la" to the end of insanlar?

-la = with (suffix form of ile=with)

"Yeni insanlar ile tanışıyorum." is also possible. If the verb is "tanışmak" (to meet each other), "ile" is necessary in Turkish.

Instead, you can say:
"Yeni insanlar tanıyorum." = I meet new people.
