The language is based on a cool concept. With very few roots, you can form many words, although imo it eventually gets a bit too abstract to be practical. One of the coolest things about Toki Pona is that it can be written using its own logographic system. To me they kinda look like simplified Mayan glyphs. Pretty neat, isn't it?
They say it's an easy language to learn. Maybe I'll give it a shot someday

actually it's easy to learn but difficult to use. cuz, few vocabulary means hard work for creating more words, then you'll get confused probably, at least that's the case for me...... you'd notice this once you start to use the language regularly......

Yes, it seems to be a more theoretical than practical language. It's like a game. Anyway, there is a quite complete dictionary in case you don't know how to create a new word.
