According to @MatOzone's www.duolingodata.com website the EN<-FR course has been expanded tremendously for B2:
Code: Select all
English A1? FR 57 374 1181 70 2525 24.05 117
English A1? FR 33 331 1277 58 2417 24.02 105
English B2 FR 335 2202 7325 369 6955 24.03 696
English B2 FR 208 2185 8678 369 6211 23.11 683
See the one with 208 or 335 units.
@dakanga
My old V5.73.2 Android app versions only shows me the one with 33 units.
The Web portal got rolled out the one skill per unit (vs two skills in one unit) course change so other courses have now more units than my older app.
TL;DR:
There is a massive jump from 33/57 units to 208/335 units.
But school classrooms usually don't see those new A/B experiments which are mainly reserved for NEW users or old users who have no classroom
(as we know only a subset of a user base gets them rolled out periodically).
So the EN for French speakers course got changed/added content drastically once staff/linguistic team/contractors took over.
Sometimes it helps to create 1-2 more user accounts to get the latest course changes (it's better to do this only as the second step).
You can try to catch a new/expanded course in a PRIVATE/Incognito browser window as the first step without being logged in to the DL server....by pretending you are a NEW user (especially works for A/B experiments).
