The Cyrillic alphabet doesn't take long to figure out. Just know that it's entirely phonetic, so the letter you see stays with however it's pronounced no matter how basic or advanced you are in Ukrainian.

Yes, early in the course, after the alphabet section is the option to type in Ukrainian or use the word bank.

In my opinion, Discord servers are okay if you want to host a class or something. So if a group wants to get together for German chat, they can all meet in one channel. But if that's the case, why not just have your own server for that so random people don't go in? But even then.. who moderates that?

Great message. I wish I knew if he was here or wherever to tell him thanks. Duolingo is responsible for many good things to happen for people because of language-learning, and where many of us were able to connect initially. I'm grateful for that.
