You're quite right. It's because you "pay" for legendary lessons and only get three hearts. That means you need to either subscribe or watch more adverts to top up your gems. I used nearly all my gems to make my whole course legendary and was annoyed when they changed it. I had finished t...

I'm currently doing the Hungarian course and have noticed that the regular lessons are super easy, they keep repeating the same basic vocabulary over and over (even tho I'm already at the end of the course) and like half of the exercises are just 1 word fill in the blank type of questions however on...

Shadow-banning & the interfering with PMs. The shadow banning happened with Duolingo. As far as I know, it's not happening here. I don't think we even have the tools to do that. I was shadowbanned on the duolingo forums back in 2019 supposedly because I kept telling people how to avoid the heal...

has anyone had the problem that when doing the first lesson of the day after typing 1-2 sentences the whole page refreshes and you have to start all over? usually it also reenables the word bank so you have to click on the "use keyboard" again
