Shame that there aren’t more people contributing. Obviously indicative of how few have come across from the DL forum, and that Polish learning was always going to have a lower number of participants.
Can someone please explain the difference in
Poczekaj moment - wait a second, and
Zaczekaj chwilę - wait a minute
Ie what’s the difference between the Po and Za prefixes in this context? Is it literally wait ‘after’ a second and wait ‘behind’ a minute? Would it be wrong to just use czekaj?
Can a native speaker kindly check these please…
(Czy ‘native speaker’ może je dla mnie sprawdzić, prozę…)

Thank-you, but other than asking you, and I’m very grateful for you taking the time to answer, where else could one find this sort of nuanced information?!
…is the next goal and it turns out that there are only 1929 unique words in the Polish course. What kind of lame programming results in not even being able to fulfil the app’s own goals?!
Also, not much posting going on in this sub forum???
Is it just me, but the sentence discussions are just not loading today? Is this a side effect of the forum closure and is normal service likely to resume in time?

It’s free. Sign up, explore other user generated decks or create your own.
A language association game…
Rescuing more links from the forum
This chap created a Duolingo word list on an excel spreadsheet…
I’m assuming that various resources need to be employed to learn a new language. This web based word game was recommended to me recently and is quite fun. It can be saved as a web app to the home screen of your phone.
I discovered an app called Chegg Prep, which is a free flashcard app. There are many user generated decks which you can search for and you can of course create your own.
It’s strange to think that this used to be a feature and was something else that was discarded rather than developed.
This was the link to the Polish Grammar PDF which someone had posted on the Duo forum.
Also very useful…
I found this free PDF which accompanies an ebook. You may find it useful…
